Information you provide

When you personalize a message, you may enter a relationship type, tone and short context about a situation. Do not enter highly sensitive personal information. Dearovo uses this information to provide the requested feature and operate the service.

Preference memory and recommendations

Dearovo may use a pseudonymous device identifier stored in your browser to remember basic product preferences and improve future recommendations without requiring an account. For example, we may record which message styles, tones or lengths you choose, which recommendations were shown, and which message you selected so we can reduce repetition and make later suggestions more relevant.

This basic preference memory is used to improve the Dearovo experience. We do not sell this preference data to advertisers. If Dearovo later offers relationship memory that stores more personal details about a specific person or relationship, we intend to ask before saving that information and provide controls to remove it.

Technical and analytics data

We may collect basic device, browser, page-view and interaction data to understand whether the site works and how features are used. Analytics providers may use cookies, IP addresses or similar identifiers according to their own policies and your consent choices where required.

Advertising, cookies and Google services

If Dearovo enables Google advertising, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's previous visits to Dearovo or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to Dearovo and/or other sites on the Internet.

Users may manage or opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Where required by law or Google policy, Dearovo will use an appropriate consent mechanism before storing or accessing advertising cookies or using personal data for ad personalization.

Payments and Plus access

Payment details are processed by Paddle, our payment provider and merchant of record. Dearovo does not store full payment card credentials. We may receive transaction status, product, amount, customer or subscription identifiers, purchase email and other information needed to activate membership, restore paid access on another device, provide support and manage access.

Dearovo does not require an account to use Plus. If you choose to restore Plus on another device, we use the purchase email to send a short-lived one-time access code. Successful verification links that device to the active Paddle customer/subscription for entitlement purposes. Recovery codes expire quickly and are stored in a protected, non-plaintext form.

Retention and deletion

We keep operational information only for as long as needed for the service, legal obligations, fraud prevention and support. Preference history may be retained so the service can avoid repeatedly showing the same content. Short-lived recovery records are retained only as needed to operate and secure the access-recovery flow. You may contact us to request access or deletion where applicable. We plan to add self-service preference and memory controls as the product develops.

Children

Dearovo is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended to collect personal information from children.
